TO CLARIFY about the league

<font size="3">TO CLARIFY: This league was created and I started the idea with the intention of making a CHAMPIONS LEAGUE with only GMs that had been to the big game and won it.

This idea was to bring "the best of the best" from around the game into one league for a competitive and hopefully very active league.

However ... it was hard to find enough GMs that had won a championship thru the forum replies and leagues I was in and then when I emailed members not all said yes.

I told Scott about the idea and he had no problem and I mentioned I wanted him to be part of it however he reminded me he never won a championship in Basketball. Okay first problem how do I get the creator in a Champions only league ? ah football came to mind which also got KingZster in as well. And then from their more problems showed their face.

Many GM?s did not have the time or money for another league so I was left with a problem ... from their I thought about it again and what became more important to me was a league that was active and created with GMs that understood the game, had fun within the game and had been around contributing thru game updates and topics in our forums ... these where the GMs I wanted in the league.

So even thought the name still implies ?THE CHAMPIONS LEAGUE?, in my mind and vision everyone who joins is a true champion ? because they hold the knowledge of the game within them and have the ability to win it all even if they have not yet.

Everyone can?t win it all ? I mean out of 32 teams only 1 wins each season and it?s very hard. You have to give it up to Stumps and Dickyknee for all the championships but that doesn?t mean any other GM is any less of a talent or necessity to the game or this league.

So when GM?s ask the question of why does football trophies count or I thought this was a champions league only ? just remember the definition of CHAMPIONS LEAGUE for this league right now means knowledge, dedication and active instead of hardware on your mantle.</font>

ALSO: When it comes to voting on changes please be open to anything happening. Remember if this league works out like i hope it should the activity within it should rival some of the other top leagues or over take them ... ...

at anytime we as a league can change our rules and guidelines ... taking trains from 2 to 6 or putting an extra 2.5M on the salary cap after 4 seasons into the game .... .... its our league adn we have the ability to change it as we see fit ... ... so be open for change even if each of your suggestions or votes doesnt get approved
